All of our PCN Practices are committed to being a safe and inclusive space for all our patients. We are very proud to be working towards “Pride In Practice Awards” with some currently working to achieve Gold Award.
We are always looking to improve the care we offer and we would love to receive any feedback from our LGBTQ+ patients regarding your experiences at any of our Practices.

Did you know we have a Patient Participation Group at each practice who meet a number of times a year and help to feedback and develop the services and care we offer across our surgeries? We would love for you to be involved. Please ask at any reception for further details.


As a PCN we offer care to all patients regardless of your sexual orientation or gender. We strive to achieve inclusivity for everyone and to ensure we provide excellent health care services equally.

New patients and screening programmes

All trans gender patients at Kirkburton Health Centre are offered a new patient health check appointment as part of the registration process. At this appointment our Practice Nurse will discuss screening programmes, medication and any other concerns that you may have.
